High-purity Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) sputtering targets for RF magnetron deposition of infrared-transparent optical films, electroluminescent (EL) display phosphor layers, and anti-reflection coatings. ZnS is a wide-bandgap II-VI semiconductor with a refractive index of ~2.35 and excellent IR transparency from 0.4–12 µm. CY Scientific ZnS targets are cold-press sintered to high density for stable RF sputtering without cracking or thermal fracture.
